You know the old saying, “a wedding is the happiest day of your life” ?! Well, the ECE team not only wholeheartedly believes in this idea, but is fully committed in our efforts to ensure it.

In doing so, we place great value in preparation and organization. We, of course, carry out these practices the best way we know how–packing up our wedding emergency kit!

We discussed with the team and comprised a list of our go-to emergency kit items we would not survive event days without:

• the basics: lighters (butane for sparklers), scissors (on us at all times, you truly never know when you might need them), double sided + black tape (gotta have both!), & smudge-free pens/paint pens (we never leave for a wedding day without em)
• safety: first aid kit + medications (wedding days can be long & you never know when a killer headache might come on, or, if you’re local, you know all about the importance of an allergy pill!)
• clothes-related needs: fashion tape (THE most practical item on this list), clothes pins (self-explanatory but imperative), steamer (the handheld ones will save your life!), extra men’s socks, & stain remover (red wine stain remover, tide to go, shout wipes)
• LOTS of snacks/water (plus liquid IV always, of course)
• floral-related: floral wire, tape, extra boutonniere pins (because, let’s be honest, sometimes they can be difficult)
• misc: pack of bar towels (a necessity for drying off ceremony chairs, bouquet stems, etc), mass pack of tissues for family (it’s all about the little things!)
• tool kit (super important–we’ve had to whip this out a time or two)

Our emergency kit serves as a safety net, making certain wedding days run as seamless as possible. As always, we focus on the little things before and during your event, guaranteeing the happiest of days for everybody involved!
