At ECE, we hold firm to the belief that a person’s wedding day stands as one of their most important. Believing in this significance is what motivates us to provide the very best service throughout the planning process and, of course, on the day-of! We want to be there for you in the capacity that best meets your needs and have built a diverse team of lead planners accordingly.
Get to know your potential lead planners! Up first, we have the lady herself, Erin Cleveland. Erin was working in the event industry for 10+ years before starting her own business, Erin Cleveland Events, back in 2018.
Meet Erin:
What would you say is your leadership style?
– The two words I always want to represent in my work are professionalism and warmth. Often times, these two adjectives are a dichotomy; warmth gets mistaken for weakness (especially as a woman in leadership) and professionalism can be read as being cold. On a good day, I’m right in between the two, putting my foot down to stand up for what I know should happen on a wedding day while reflecting positivity and joy in the process.
What is your personality type? (MYERS-BRIGGS/ENNEAGRAM?)
– ENTJ for Myers-Briggs, 2 for enneagram and I like to say I’m “ambi-wing” as my sister calls it – pretty equally 1 and 3!
What’s your favorite phase of the planning process?
– Currently, I focus on full planning and design planning clients, both of which include a full design presentation once I’ve gotten to know the couple a bit. It is hands down my favorite part of the planning process, and I usually leave the meeting with some sort of tears shedding because I get SO happy when people love the design direction and feel known from it. It is such a gift!
What do you hope to achieve from each process?
– I hope every couple feels valued, respected, cared for and advocated for during every step.
What part of your personality do you feel best shines/helps you during the planning process?
– Going back to the first question, my professionalism helps a client feel safe and protected as we put together their vendor team and make big picture plans. My warmth towards clients comes from a genuine place of gratitude for each of them and that our team gets to be a part of their special day and story. I hope all couples feel both of these elements of who I strive to be!
Get to know me question: if you were a signature cocktail, what would you be?
– I am a gin martini gal (extra dirty with extra olives) but, one of our other lead planners, Lexie, has a martini tattoo, so how can I really claim that as my all-time favorite? I’ll go with my second favorite which is a classic Aperol Spritz.
Through a blend of professionalism and warmth, Erin’s passion for creating personalized experiences for couples shines through. Erin represents the foundation of our company’s commitment to exemplary service as she inspires the rest of her team to lead accordingly. Up next, you’ll meet our other 2 leads on the planning team–we couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming season!
